Overview

The focus of the meeting that makes it different from other meetings on nonlinear optics is the emphasis to non‐equilibrium. It is now clear that systems (like cavity polaritons) where the number of particles does not conserve and is maintained constant only due to pumping, differ qualitatively from their equilibrium counterparts. In such system a special driven sate of matter is realized which is yet very poorly understood. In particular, the effect of disorder on this driven state of matter deserves special discussion.
