About

The physics college in Chongqing University (CQU) has two provincial key laboratories (One for experiment and the other for theory) and a center of quantum Materials and Devices in CQU. The theoretical key laboratory is supported by the NSFC Project of “Southwest Center for Theoretical Physics”. There are four main research directions in CQU, which are: 1) Theoretical physics (Particle, Astronomy, Cosmology). 2) Material Physics (Nano-technology, Energy and thermoelectric etc.) 3) Soft Matter Physics (intelligent soft matter, Microfluidic and nanofluidic chips). 4) Condensed matter Physics (Strongly correlation, Quantum Optics, Magnetism and First Principle calculation). Apart from the current campus in ChongQing, we are current preparing to build a lab in Liyang, Jiangsu province which aims to the industrialization of the research.
