Overview: 

The Fundamentals of Quantum Materials Winter School is dedicated to training the next generation of Quantum Materials scientists in the arts of synthesis, characterization and electronic modeling of quantum materials. Bringing together senior and junior scientists to address topics at the forefront of current research into quantum materials, the school includes both pedagogical background and practical training for junior scientists, with afternoons devoted to practical hands-on demonstrations of synthesis and characterization techniques. The 4th annual Winter School will have a focus on Superconductivity, and will include instruction on both materials synthesis, characterization techniques and electronic structure calculations.
