About The Event
We would like to bring to your attention the forthcoming in-person ICAM workshop “Non-Equilibrium Phenomena in Superconductors and Related Materials”, taking place in Vancouver, Canada, on July 19th and 20th, 2022. The workshop will be part of the 13th International Conference on Materials and Mechanisms of Superconductivity & High Temperature Superconductors (M2S), July 17th-22th, enabling participants to share their ideas and inspirations with the broad research community interested in superconductivity.
The program of the workshop comprises four sessions covering disparate topics:
1) Higgs Spectroscopy – Tuesday July 19th, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM PST
Speakers: D. Manske, R. Shimano, S. Kaiser, D. Podolsky
2) Nonlinear coupling of collective modes – Tuesday July 19th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PST
Speakers: P. Narang, A. Caviglia, A. Disa, C.A. Belvin
3) Driven Mott Insulators – Wednesday July 20th, 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM PST
Speakers: M. Mitrano, D. Golež, S. Dodge, S. Ejima
4) Nonequilibrium superconducitivity – Wednesday July 20th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM PST
Speakers: I. Eremin, L. Benfatto, A. Cavalleri, A. Avella
We can offer up to Can$1,000 in financial support to Junior Scientists, which ICAM defines as undergraduates, graduates or post-doctoral researchers within five (5) years of their PhD and is not a university tenure track faculty or staff of a national or industrial laboratory. Qualified applicants should submit their application by filling out this form (https://www.m2s-2022.com/m2s-2022/icam/Site/Register) by June 10th, 2022. Selected participants will be notified by June 17th, 2022.
Participants (with and without financial support) will need to register for the M2S conference (registration page, standard registration ends June 30th, 2022) and will have the opportunity to attend all the sessions of the M2S conference in addition to the two-day ICAM workshop.
